Dear Non-Christian,
I am bringing this page to you to tell you what Jesus Christ has done in my life. I know there must be reasons you call your self a non-Christian. Maybe Jesus Christ has not been properly introduced into you life. My story is one of many lives that have been saved though Jesus Christ.
I was born the son of two high school sweethearts, Charlie and Susan, who where to young to be married. I was given up for adoption the day I was born. I spent 18 months in foster homes waiting for my new family. I was lucky to be placed with Jim and Betty (Dad and Mom) and I now had a brother that was ten years older than me (Jimmy).
I don't remember anyone else being my parents. I have known I was adopted for as long as I can remember. I was raised in a Very Christian home. I say "Very" because sometimes I was drug to church. I was like most kids I hated sitting still during the service. This background is the basis of my faith.
I had a happy childhood. I did not get everything I wanted, but I got everything needed. (kinda like the song) I needed Jesus in my life. There were times I strayed and there were times I led. No one is perfect, but Jesus. My faith was always there to pull me though the hard times, but I didn't always push the faith in the good times.
I made it through school. (High School and College,barely) I got married to a wonderful wife, Lisa. About two years after we were married, Jimmy and I opened our family business (Hobby Stop) with help from Dad. We continue to work hard after more than five years.
Lisa and I wanted to have Kids, but I didn't know any of my biological background. I know you don't have to have that info to make children, I just wanted to know what I could expect health wise. I was happy to find my birth parents. They both lead different lives, but were happy that I had found them.
I now have a very strange story to explain when I talk about my Parents ....Adopted and Biological! I love telling that story and will spare you details. This event in my life really strengthened my faith. I was able to be raised in a loving Christian home and to find Jesus early in life. A day doesn't go by with out me finding Jesus everywhere I look. (You know ... trained eye!) I see Jesus in action on a daily basis.
The purpose of this page is not to glorify my life , but to gloify Jesus Christ. I have been looking for something like this to spread the Good News of Jesus. I have been out of work for over four weeks now (Thank God for the family business). I have been on the "net" everyday working on the store's website, and it hit me to use this time to tell the joys of Jesus.
I want you to Pray a prayer of forgiveness and ask Jesus for salvation. Let Jesus into your Heart and you will find the Wonderful things God has blessed you with. Someday you can share your story with someone and help change their life by showing them Jesus Christ!
